Thanks to all of the local food business owners that came out to Jambor Heyman's first "Good Food Law" workshop last week. We had a full room, lively conversation, and delicious local food and beer courtesy of Common Roots Cafe.

Featuring Buddy's Nut Butters owner Andrew Kincheloe, and held in partnership with the Linden Hills Farmers Market, the workshop included information about creating a strong business foundation, protecting a brand with a federal trademark, learning how to price a product and work with a co-packer and a food broker, and how to decode a business contract.

Stay tuned; Jambor Heyman will be announcing the next workshop in its winter Good Food Law workshop series in the coming weeks.
